In tune with India's focus on the African region, the Government of India will be holding an expo, ‘India Show at Nigeria', at Lagos, Nigeria during 02-03 February 2012. ‘India Show at Nigeria' shall bring together business leaders and high level ministerial sessions on trade issues and strategies to redefine existing partnership. The objective is to bring together the stakeholders of the key priority sectors from the economies of West Africa and India on a common platform, for forging mutually beneficial strategic partnerships both at bilateral as well as regional level.

DRDO intends to take a minimum of 45 technologies to exhibit at the Expo and attract investment opportunities for them. across various clusters,

The technologies selected for the Expo has been clustered into various categories, representing the core needs for the African geography. The Clusters are: Food Technologies, Communications, Electronics, Food, Materials, Medicine and Health Sciences, Security & Surveillance, Social Impact, Software, and Waste Management and Environment.
